While AI-powered features can greatly enhance data processing and user experience, building systems that are reliable, scalable, and production-ready is far more challenging than it appears. This experience reshaped my perspective on AI development—reliability should always come before sophistication, and clear system boundaries and solid engineering foundations are non-negotiable.

Initialized YOLO model for koala detection, designed frontend pages in React, and developed .NET backend APIs for serving and displaying images.

Designed the database schema and implemented user registration, login, and listing APIs using ASP.NET Core with JWT authentication. Built the listing creation page in React and Tailwind CSS, integrating backend APIs and Google Maps API for seamless geolocation input and data flow.
